Moreover, my accountability extended to crafting bespoke illustrations tailored precisely to fulfill the company's requirements, ensuring a seamless alignment with their brand vision and objectives.

Virgo

BACKGROUND OF THE CREATION OF THE WORKS

This artwork was born from my personal interactions and observations with individuals who share the Virgo zodiac sign. As they entered, stayed, and eventually left my life, I was moved to create this piece. Starting with observation and imagination, I visualized an object that stirred a powerful response within me. Through my own experiences, I found personal meaning in this object. Using this emotional stimulus as inspiration, I channeled my feelings into the form of paintings. Each brushstroke represents a part of my journey with these individuals, capturing the essence of our shared experiences.

WORKS CONCEPT

• Description

Virgo, a zodiac that means a lot in my life, comes, lives, and leaves leaving very memorable memories, both bitter, sweet, fun, sad, and happy memories that help me keep growing. They are angels, demons, and teachers who have been present to color my life. In this work, I want to unite all those feelings in the form of a painting.

• Style

The style that I apply is a watercolor style plus some realism accents. My style is inspired by several professional artists and illustrators, including an illustrator from Indonesia, Stefany Zefanya

• Material

The materials I use include watercolors, koas, Canson Bristol paper, pencils, and drawing pens

• Technique

In this painting, I used realism, and watercolor techniques and ended with digital techniques

• Color

The colors used are quite a lot, namely red, yellow, green, blue, and mixed colors of several colors. I use these colors to add to the impression of a calming cottagecore and also to create a feeling of virgo which is responsible, conscientious, analytical, and logical.

• The Process of Creation of Works

As for the process, first, a sketch is made as the base of the work itself. At this stage, I applied the realism technique with Gigi Hadid as my reference model. After this process, I continued by giving color to make the work look more alive using the watercolor technique. Then I scanned the finished colored work to make the work digital and finally I did the editing, giving some effects, and finished using digital software.

Conclusion & Hope

The core concept behind the creation of this painting is rooted in my personal memories of individuals with the Virgo zodiac sign who have come and gone throughout my life, including family members, friends, and partners. My hope for this artwork is that it will resonate with a broad range of people from all walks of life, allowing them to experience the various emotions that I have conveyed in my work, such as sadness, joy, anger, and anxiety. Ultimately, it is my goal that this painting will be appreciated for its ability to tap into the universal human experience of love, loss, and memory.

"Exploring the Limitless Artistic Riches of Indonesia" 

This is a story about the rich and diverse art and cultural heritage of Indonesia. From Sumatra, Java, Bali, to Papua, there is no end to the variety of artistic expressions found in Indonesia. Traditional dances, for example, vary from one region to another with unique styles, music, and meanings. The story highlights the Topeng dance, a traditional art form from the Cirebon region, as an example. Indonesian music is equally impressive with various traditional instruments, such as Sampek from the Dayak community, which is played by plucking. Each province takes pride in its unique musical instruments and styles that reflect its cultural and traditional heritage. Finally, Indonesian visual art offers an endless source of inspiration, from the intricate Javanese Batik textiles to Bali's expert woodcarvings. Traditional statues and carvings from wood and stone in the eastern part of Indonesia reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The story concludes that Indonesia's art and cultural heritage represent the country's wealth and diversity, celebrating its traditions and inspiring future generations. The endless variation of artistic expression throughout the country is evidence that Indonesia's artistic wealth knows no bounds.

• Background

I made this work in order to take part in a competition held by @tehbotolsosroid and @localsunite.id which was attended by thousands of people from all over Indonesia.

• Style

The style that I apply is a cartoon style plus some pastel accents. My style is inspired by several professional artists and illustrators, including some illustrator from Indonesia such as Wastana Haikal, Firology and many more.

• Technique

In this project I do all the drawing part from sketch into finished drawing with digital technique. 

• Software

The software i use is Adobe Photoshop and Clipstudio Paint

WORKS CONCEPT

• Background

TED is an organizer of private conferences. Founded in 1984, TED which stands for Technology, Education, and Design, has now grows into a global community and nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx to accommodate everyone to unleash their ideas, inspire, and ignite conversations that matters. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Witness as The Agent embarks on a mission to disseminate powerful messages and unearth transformative ideas in Bandung, West Java, igniting the spark of enlightenment that resonates within us all.. 

So at TEDxDago, there will be a magazine containing many articles, written by communities around Bandung. Well, the role of the illustrator will be to create illustrations to accompany the articles. And I was recruited as one of the illustrators

• Description of the Work

This illustration that I made depicts the atmosphere of attacks by residents against

property/occupiers who are closely related to the Bandung Lautan Api incident. I would describe the atmosphere as having a haze of smoke, chaos, and lots of action. and in the middle of it all, there was a father and son who were confused and lamenting the unfortunate incident where the house and land they owned were burned to the ground by residents even though they had nothing to do with the invaders they were also affected by it.

In this project, I do all the drawing parts from sketch to finished drawing with digital technique.

• Description of the Work

This illustration project was created for Indonesia's Ministry of Public Affairs. These illustrations were designed for a campaign centered around the MAN(Mindset, Ability, Needs) concept, focusing on mindset, ability, and needs. The first illustration portrays a city before the implementation of the MAN concept, while the second illustrates the city after its application.

I am honored to share that these illustrations were showcased at the pinnacle of World Habitat Day and World Cities Day 2023, organized by the ministry. Enclosed are some documented moments from the exhibition, providing an insight into the implementation of my illustrative work. I hope you enjoy exploring these illustrations.
